With 2 weeks of finals for Jeff I thought it would be a good time for me and the boys to take a trip back to Utah. I had a good friend getting married and truth be told I can live without the stress of finals!! It just so happened that Thomas the Train would also be visiting Utah at the same time which is perfect for our little train obsessed Trey. We decided not to tell him what we were doing instead we told him we were going on an adventure. He was so excited that his Gram and Uncle Derek were going to be joining us as well. That morning for breakfast Gram, Jeff's mom, gave the boys Thomas shirts and we headed out the door. We stopped for lunch at a little train themed restaurant called Dairy Keen where they have a small train that drives around the ceiling. With Thomas in town that weekend they had changed the train to Thomas and when Trey saw that you would have thought that was the big adventure. He started screaming 'THOMAS, THOMAS" as if he had just found his long lost brother! When it was time to go Trey was not very happy so I picked up a flier about Heber Valley Railroad to get him into the car. As we drove away he started looking through it and saw Thomas in there and said, "Mom I want to find this Thomas train so I can ride on it". I turned to him and said "you know what we should find that train", and that is just what we did!
We drove down the road looking for a place to park when Trey saw Thomas. I hurried and turned around to capture this moment of Trey once again yelling, "THOMAS...I SEE THOMAS!" The expression on his face obviously requires very little explaining.

As we road the train I found out that we might have 2 train fans after all. Kaden was so excited and loved being on the train. He stood up on the seat the whole ride looking out the rails. It was adorable.

That picture of Trey is what I picture the face of someone experiencing pure joy would look like! How cute is he! I'm glad you guys had fun here. It was good to see you at the reception.

Oh my goodness I LOVE the absolute joy in Trey's face! He is too cute, and you can't help but be incredibly excited about Thomas as well when looking at that happiness :) That is so fun that you took him!

Someone in my mental state this past month I didn't copy your new email from my old work!! So I just wanted to say Happy Birthday yesterday! Email me so I have your real address. Apparently I never saved it! It was so good to see you..I guess now its my turn to go out and visit you!!
That face is priceless! It was fun seeing you guys - can't wait for the next trip! We will have to do another celiac dinner!
