We won't be there! That's right we're moving!! Jeff recently found out that he was accepted to complete his 4th year of school at a hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This means that after Jeff completes his last round of finals at the end of May, we'll be packing a moving truck and heading to the desert. While we're excited for this new opportunity I have to admit that the physical effort of moving is not something either Jeff or myself are really looking forward to. So, please consider this an open invitation if you would like to come for a visit in the next 8 months! The decision to move was bitter sweet as California has been a joy to live in with friends that we LOVE, a ward we feel blessed to be members of, and weather that can't be beat! With that said, we look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that will be ours once we move on. Just in case you're wondering...here's some useless trivia regarding our new town:
-Population: 835,120
-The Sandia Mountains are the predominant geographic feature visible in Albuquerque.
-Sandia is spanish for "watermelon" and is believed to be a reference to the coloration of the mountains at sunset: bright pink and green (I said it was useless trivia).
-Home of the Isotopes, the AAA affiliate of the LA Dodgers.
-2 hours south of Los Alamos; one of three sites involved in the creation of the atomic bomb.
-Host of the largest hot air balloon gathering in the world known as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta; the most photographed event in the world! (Really?)
-Home to Sandia Peak Tramway, the worlds longest passenger aerial tramway.

One more piece of useless trivia...25 years ago Suzy Zundel (now Neves) was born here!
Dont go! We will miss you guys too much!
Wow! you are moving! I am excited that you have decided where you are headed and even more excited to visit your there.
I don't know if I approve of this move! SF seems like heaven on earth! But at least you know where you are going and can start planning for it. Thats exciting though, and it will be a fun adventure. I guess I really have to get Luke to let us visit now!
Perfect! Now we can crash in on you when we drive through!
Wow you are moving!! Your area seems so pretty I bet that will be a big change. How exciting for you guys. Good luck with everything.
No!!! I am so sad you're leaving! But, the cost of living in NM is SO cheap! You will love it. My sister-in-law's sister lives there and they absolutely love it. And they always go to the hot air balloon thing every year and it is really cool! They just went to it last weekend, I think. Anyways, I think you guys will love it, but we're going to miss you!!!
CA to NM-that will be definite change! I like CA better!
Congrats! That is exciting news! Now we need to hurry and plan a trip out to visit you guys in SF...
We will definitely miss your family! Sounds like a great opportunity for Jeff and a fun new place to explore.
What an adventure in store for you guys! I know they will miss you there in good ole CA. And let's be honest, it's so much easier getting people to visit San Fran than Texas, but NM looks beautiful.
Hey Jeff and Julie this is Auntie Sharon, did you know that Albaqurque (or however you spell it!) is where Chad and Karon are? So if you need any help finding a place or anything let me know and I will give you there address. Love ya!
