Trey's 1st day of Preschool

For over a year Trey has been begging to go to preschool so go figure when the day is finally here he is no longer interested. The second I asked him to even get ready the tears started flowing. We had gone the week before to see his class and meet the other kids and he had so much fun so I knew we just had to get him out the door.
Getting him our the door was one task, getting him off the door was another!
Jeff finally said, "Gram will be so proud of you for going to preschool" and from then on it was all smiles. When I went to drop him off he was so excited he didn't even say bye. And of course when I come back to pick him up all I hear, "I don't want to go home!"
Kaden on the other hand is going to have a hard time with Trey leaving.

National Bowling Day

Last Saturday was National Bowling day and who can pass up a free game of bowling! Trey was so excited about his cool shows cause they had flames on the side.
Trying to teach the difference between rolling the ball instead of throwing it can be a challenge.
One awesome bowler!

Final score! Jeff claims I only won because we got to use the bumpers however, I don't remember the ball hitting the sides on those 3 strikes!!

Kaden turns 2

Last week Kaden turned 2!! It's crazy how fast they really do grow up. Lately he is all 'Lightning Mc Queen' all the time so it really turned into a Cars birthday.
Trey was also very excited about the new toys!
Kaden has also become a big blanket boy and won't go to bed without one. Trey picked out this great fabric for a new blanket!
We are not ones who like to wait all day to celebrate and since Jeff had the morning off we treated Kaden to some delicious birthday crepes!
The boys and I spent the afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese!

Having Jeff's birthday just a week before we were kind of on cake burn out so we made homemade peach ice cream instead. As you can see EVERYONE enjoyed it even to the very last drop!
