Trey, Quit Eating The Snow and Walk!

These 2 men are all about an adventure! Their way to enjoy 20 inches of snow is snowshoeing in the Rockies not too far from home.
One of the few moments he wasn't reaching down to pick up and eat the fresh snow.
Near the end, and at the top of an incline, Trey yelled up ahead to Jeff to stop and take his picture. Just as Jeff was about to snap the picture Trey dropped and threw down his version of "Tebowing." Seriously. Needless to say this football season Trey caught on and is all about the Broncos and Tebow, even when he's in the mountains.

All At Once

In the past month we have had over 20 inches of snow which means A LOT of days trapped inside. One afternoon I wondered what my children would do without electronics. All at the same time Trey was on the Wii.
Kaden was playing on the computer,
And Avrey was watching a show on the laptop. Heaven help us if the power ever goes out!!

Say What!?!

This past weekend we had a movie night and watched the movie 'Soul Surfer'. We thought the boys would enjoy it and hoped it would maybe show them how blessed they are. Maybe by seeing the trials and challenges that others have faced they would realize how "fair" life is and how lucky they are to be able to do all the things they can do. That small hope was shot down at the end of the movie when Kaden burst into tears, throwing his hands to the floor screaming, "It's not fair that I don't get to have my hand bitten off by a shark." Heaven help us!!
A beautiful sunset outside our front door! It got me excited for summer nights to come...that was of course before we got slammed with 15 inches of snow!!
