Got Sleep?

For those that have slept anywhere near Trey know that he snores...and he snores loud. He has always had enormous tonsils so we have been working with our doctor to see if we can have them removed. Since he has never had strep throat, we had to put him through a sleep study to prove that he needs his tonsils taken out. So, last night he and Jeff had a little sleep over at the sleep center.
He wasn't too excited to go, and even when they got there Jeff had to drag him out of the car. I guess once they got inside he started to think it was pretty cool.
Once he realized how many sensors would be hooked up to him he still was not so sure about the whole thing.

By the time they got him all hooked up and in bed it was after 9:00 pm and Trey kept saying, "Daddy, I am so tired can I just close my eyes now?" I am still not sure how he slept with all those cords attached to him. The worst part was when the "sleep tech" came in this morning at 5:45 am, woke them both up to say the study was done, and it was time for them to go. So much for sleeping in! Hopefully we will find out in a few weeks what we need to do next!
As a side note, this little stinker has decided he is too big for naps and in his mind has already switched over to daylight savings and likes to get up just before 6:00 am. Good thing they are so cute!

Those pictures of Trey are so funny! I hope the tonsils come out soon.

Tell Trey I think he's very brave! Can you even imagine how Isaac would handle that situation?! Caden looks older since last we saw you all. Can't wait to play with you guys next month!

Oh, Isaac recently decided he doesn't need naps either. I am trying to enforce quiet time. Oh how I miss nap time.

You must have a high threshhold for cuteness-redemption. Before 6:00 is not okay no matter what for us.

There is a Reading Rainbow about a sleep center, its the one called Stellaluna. I bet you can get it at the library--Trey would love it!

Trey is brave! I hope they figured things out and that hopefully they can fix it all with getting those tonsils out. Fingers crossed! And also they're crossed that naptime isn't really gone. Oh no!! And up that early too boot? You poor girl!!!
